Openpay - Christmas 2021
The Challenge
Openpay was a FinTech Buy Now Pay Later Product, disrupting traditional banking and credit loans. All digital content needed a balance of appearing trustworthy, while promoting the new age of finance.​ Christmas is one of Openpay's largest trade periods, and considering the noise in the market noise, this campaign needed to be distinctive.

After two years of lockdowns during the COVID 19 pandemic, Christmas for 2021 felt like our first taste of normalcy. After researching the market sentiment we decided to take a sensitive approach, focusing on togetherness and community. It felt like the wrong time to push sales and products onto people. I focused on connected fairy lights and an image of an apartment block with neighbours celebrating to promote togetherness.
My Role

My role was to generate and pitch concepts to the marketing team, collate feedback and refine the campaign creative. Once the creative direction was set, I used Sketch and Figma to design assets for the website, app, social media and paid digital ads.

Results
​
- $34.6 million in sales, including an increase of 23% in total transaction value
- 161k new plans
- 41% increase in sales from Christmas 2020
- Our first million generated in 24 hours.
