The Challenge

 

The ABC Book of Australian Jargon is a personal project.

 I created this book overseas to pass on a little piece of Australia and to give meaning to our otherwise meaningless jargon.

My Approach

​

Language books and dictionaries informed the type of information needed, while children’s ABC books informed the aesthetics of the book. I wanted the book to be fun, humorous and colorful,

much like the Australian culture. I created all of the illustrations myself and printed the books on canvas paper to give a personal feel.
